Official Recognition

The iNtuitive Times Institute can confer upon its graduates Level I . II, III or IV certification. These are eligible for the conferring of four designations by the Open International Interfaith Ministry. Each designation builds on the prior designation:

Level I Certificate in Applied Spiritual Counselling: This lay ministry award achieved through completing our Foundation Year Programme is intended for one’s personal development and growth and/or to expand the wellness practitioner’s knowledge of counselling, spirituality and energy work.

Level II Lay Minister: This achievement allows the student to begin starting a chapter, run services but not officiate at religious ceremonies.

Level III Licensed Minister, Registered Spiritual Counsellor (LM, RSC or LM ‘Intuitive’ RSC): This ministry award is conferred on those who have earned the status, enabling the graduate to perform all the functions of a Minister, except officiating at funerals and weddings. There are two areas of specialization: Spiritual Counselling; or Intuitive Spiritual Counselling with special notation for artistic expression in either stream as demonstrated through the student’s thesis, practicum or internship.

Level III Ordained Interfaith Minister: This award is conferred on those who have been fully trained as both a spiritual counsellor and ordained minister with training in the full range of religious services, including pastoral counselling, weddings and funerals.

Continuing Education Units (CEU's)

To maintain their status, each designate will have to complete for the Open International Interfaith Ministry 12 credit hours of training (equivalent of a 2 day workshop) and have 5 independent and confidential evaluations of client sessions completed and forwarded within each three year period. This entitles ordinates to receive international clergy cards recognized throughout the world.

Legitimacy

The iNtuitive Times Institute is a legally formed entity whose articles include the awarding of our four certificate levels in the Interfaith Ministry. These certificates are recognized and conferred by the Open International Interfaith Ministry as:

Level I - CASC (Certificate in Applied Spiritual Counselling)
Level II - Lay Minister
Level III - L.M. (Licensed Minister) with special designation of ‘Intuitive RSC’ or ‘RSC’ (Registered Spiritual Counsellor)

This affords the opportunity through OIIM for recognition of CEU’s for maintaining the professional status through OIIM.

The credentials conferred by OIIM recognizes the significant level of expertise that NTI graduates have achieved. Our standards equal or exceed those of traditional universities. Our curriculum offers in-depth training in spiritual counselling and a combination of training in holistic wellness and counselling that is not available anywhere else. Our approach is inclusive of both science and religion.

On October 21, 2002, NTI received from the Province of Prince Edward Island a letter of Dispensation to conduct an Interfaith Seminary Programme for the Open International Interfaith Ministry.
