Full-Time Faculty


Rev.Barry King, B.Sc.(Honours), O.M., Ph.D.(T.C.)

Rev. Barry King has a Bsc (Honours) from Dalhousie University in Halifax. He is an Ordained Minister through the Spiritual Science Fellowship and has a Doctorate in Therapeutic Counselling awarded through the SSF Seminary, the IIIHS, in Montreal. He successfully completed the course work for a Masters in Education in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Rev. Barry King brings to the Institute a rich background with experience as a museum professional, educator, naturalist, artist, illustrator, author, editor, intuitive, counsellor and interfaith minister. He has worked with children and adults in both informal and formal settings as an educator and has developed curricula for a variety of audiences for over 20 years.

Having a strong connection to Spirit since birth, he has worked to develop his intuitive gifts over the last 20 years. In that time, He has dedicated himself to sharing the certain knowledge that there is no death and that we are Spirit. Barry has an active practice for readings and consultations. He is well known for his gentle & intuitive approach.

Rev. King has worked for 15 years as an interfaith pastoral / spiritual counsellor helping people develop their spiritual connections and guidance. Through the PEI Interfaith Ministry, he encourages people to embrace the knowledge that intuitive gifts are everyone's birth right.


Rev. Sandi King, B.Ed., M.Ed., C.C.C., O.M., Ph.D.(T.C.)

Rev. Sandi is our Registrar. Sandi has the honour of being considered to be one of Canada's 1994 top seven innovative educators as a 1994 National Hilroy Fellowship winner. In 1992 a program she co-ordinated won the National Conference Board of Canada's Business Education Partnership. She has over twenty years experience in special education and counselling in both the public school system and in private practice.

Sandi is a cancer recoverer and an ACOA (Adult Child of Addiction) who is dedicated to sharing the gifts of well being found through techniques and methods that integrate body, mind & spirit; & mind over body techniques.


Ray Malone, B.A, B.Ed, M.Ed., CCC

Ray is a well known counsellor educator in Atlantic Canada. He has a long history of contributing to the profession of counselling as the Director of Counselling Services for Prince Edward Island's Department of Education, and as a practicing counsellor in both the public and private systems. Ray brings with him a special interest in bringing spirituality to the profession of counselling in a personally relevant way that respects each individuals inner sense of spirituality. Ray will be teaching most of the counselling components.

Mentoring Programme

A unique feature of our distance education programme is that one of the full-time faculty will be assigned to you. The mentoring function is to assist you along your studies, answer any questions and help you with any challenges you may find with your studies.


Associate Faculty


The intensive retreat week-ends and weeks will be facilitated by not only the full-time faculty, but also from time to time, individuals with expertise in specific fields. Some of the current associate faculty is:

Rev. John White, O.M. Rev. John is a world renowned psychic and spiritual teacher, who has hosted both television and radio shows on matters of Spirit. Edgar Cayce, the Sleeping Prophet, was very well known for doing psychological, emotional and physical readings on people by just having their names. John White is also known for this method. He will be facilitating a days workshop during the retreats on ‘Intuitive Holistic Healing.' He will as well offer a segment on the regression experiential component.

Joan Savage, BN, RN, Reiki Master, TTP Level III, CanAsk (Touch for Health), RAC (Reflexology). Joan, as well as being an acclaimed artist, is a popular wellness lecturer and workshop leader. She will be offering a 3 hour segment on the vibrational medicine/ energy work experiential component.

Rev. Phyllis Robinson, PhD(T.C.), O.M., CCA (Canadian Certified Aroma-therapist) Phyllis is the founder and leader of the Saskatchewan Interfaith Ministry. She is a gifted medium and healer. She will be facilitating segments of the experiential component in soul journeys: numerology & psychometry, & listening intuitively.

Mark Macy, World Renowned Researcher on Proof of Survival after Death Through Electronic Communication. Results of Mark's research provide a view of the next world unprecedented in its clarity and depth. In addition to using Mark's two books as texts, when available Mark will present at the experiential segments on life after death.

Carol Bowman, Researcher on Spontaneous Past-Life Memories of Children.
Carol's books, the groundbreaking, ‘Children's Past Lives,' and her newest book, ‘Return from Heaven,' are required reading for the RPSC. Carol will, when available, offer a 3 hour segment on the regression experiential component. ‘Unsolved Mysteries' (NBC) aired a full segment on Carol's work; the segment is now in constant rotation on the Lifetime cable channel. Carol was featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show in March, 1994. Carol is constantly appearing on radio and talk shows all across the country.

Judit Rajhathy, BA,RNCP,DAc
Judit Rajhathy is a Registered Nutritional Consultant, acupuncturist, NAET practitioner and environmental health educator in private practice in Halifax, Nova Scotia, specializing in food and environmental sensitivities. She regularly appears on television and radio, and lectures extensively on environmental health. Her work with schools, parent groups and teacher associations have earned her respect and praise wherever she travels. Ms. Rajhathy is also a health writer who regularly contributes to a number of regional and national health magazines and has produced and hosted two highly successful local television series on holistic health. Her book, Free to Fly, a journey toward wellness is the #1 bestseller among Canadian holistic health publications today.


Affiliate Faculty

Affiliate faculty are those experts and professionals who offer us advise and input to the programme development. They are usually authors of required readings and may from time to time be available for presentations at the intensive experiential retreats.
